Sometimes I Like to Run from Moths
Setting: A brightly lit bathroom shower, this morning.
Erica enters the room and pulls the shower curtain back only to see a tiny brown moth, about the size of a dime, on the wall before her. Erica, very respectful of all forms of life, usually captures insects that have found their way into her house and releases them outside. But this morning, in a hurry and in no mood to be bothered, she opts to simply wash the moth down the drain.
Erica: (Grabs the shower nozzle and aims it at the moth.) Sorry, moth. Survival of the fittest.
Moth: (Flys off the wall straight toward Erica.)
Erica: (Drops the shower nozzle and runs away.)
Survival of the fittest, indeed...
